Welcome to Broughty Castle Broughty Castle sits imposingly at the mouth of the tay. Built in 1946 on a rocky promontry, it has faced many seiges and battles. These have left their scars - marks made by cannon shot are still vivible.

During the eighteenth century it fell into ruin, to be rebuilt in the 1860s as part of the Crimean War effert. Broughty Castle Museum houses fascinating displays on the life and times of Broughty Ferry, its people, the enviroment and the wildlife that lives close by.
Situated at the mouth of the Tay, the Castle has a magnificent view over the river and is only minutes away from Broughty Ferry Beach and Esplanade.
