Grand Finnish is a 52ft (15.6m) Nauticat 521 ketch completed to an incredibly high specification.With a maximum of 8 on board (6 guests and 2 crew) she is never crowded.

Based in the beautiful West of Scotland, Grand Finnish can provide a wonderful all-weather sailing experience. The airy pilot-house (with its internal steering position) allows viewing of the spectacular scenery without the need to get wet while on the helm.

britsail is a RYA approved training centre based at Kip Marina specialising in the teaching of all sailing competencies. We run a full programme of RYA theory and practical courses from RYA Essential Navigation & Seamanship and RYA Start Yachting, through RYA Competent Crew, RYA Day Skipper, RYA Coastal Skipper/ Yachtmaster® and one of only a few that offer RYA Yachtmaster Ocean - all delivered from our comfortable classroom and modern sailing yachts.

From our base on the Firth of Clyde we have access to some of the most spectacular and uncrowded sailing grounds to be found anywhere in the UK, or the world for that matter. With the Kintyre Peninsular, the Kyles of Bute, the Isle of Arran, the Isle of Cumbrae, Loch Fyne, Loch Long, Holy Loch and many more potential ports of call on our doorstep with waters that offer superb scenery and wildlife such as dolphins, porpoise and even whales.

RYA practical sailing courses are the best way to learn to sail or to improve your sailing knowledge and abilities while gaining qualifications and building sea miles. Westbound Adventures is an RYA approved training centre based on the West Coast of Scotland. We offer all RYA practical courses from competent crew through day skipper and coastal skipper to Yachtmaster exam preparation.

Central Scotland Sea School is the Training Centre for the Central Scotland Royal Naval Auxiliary Service Association and was established in 1994 and registered as a charity in the same year. We provide Sail Training voyages for all sectors of the community throughout Scotland.

Central Scotland Sea School is a recognised Training Establishment for all Royal Yachting Association courses. Based in the Firth of Clyde and on the West Coast of Scotland, our professional and friendly Instructors are committed to providing the very best yacht cruising training to suit your needs.

Our philosophy is to take all the "mumbo-jumbo" out of sailing and ensure that you enjoy your time afloat. We teach all ages from the age of 12 and all our Staff are Enhanced Disclosure Scotland Cleared to work with young people in a residential environment afloat.

A unique sailing holiday in Argyll on the west coast of Scotland

We are very pleased to have introduced people for the first time to the Cowal Peninsula and the Kyles of Bute in Argyll on the west coast of Scotland - a beautiful, unspoiled coastline of spectacular sea lochs and stunning Highland landscapes, yet only an hour from Glasgow airport. We have had amazing feedback from our guests who think that St Hilda, and our cruising area, offer something truly unique, at very good value.

We anchor in the most sheltered, idyllic places where you watch the wildife, go fishing or swim in the sea lochs or go ashore to explore. Dolphins, porpoises, basking sharks, otters, red squirrels and many species of birds are regularly seen and even the occasional Minke whale.

Second Wind Sailing and Motor Cruising is an RYA recognised training centre in Scotland.

We are based in Troon Yacht Haven, Troon, in South Ayrshire and run RYA training courses for both sail and motor cruising, with a maximum of 4 students on board. We also offer Skippered Charter throughout the Clyde and Western Isles for up to 6 people.

A small family company, Second Wind Sailing is built on the principles of providing friendly and 1st class tuition and charter, delivered by experienced, competent instructors, aboard a very well maintained, comfortable and manageable training boat.
