Located in the south-east of Scotland, Edinburgh lies on the east coast of the Central Belt, along the Firth of Forth, near the North Sea. Owing to its rugged setting and vast collection of Medieval and Georgian architecture, including numerous stone tenements, it is often considered one of the most picturesque cities in Europe. The Old Town and New Town districts of Edinburgh were listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1995. There are over 4,500 listed buildings within the city Edinburgh is also well-known for the annual Edinburgh Festival, a collection of official and independent festivals held annually over about four weeks from early August. The city attracts 1 million visitors a year, making it the second most visited tourist destination in the United Kingdom, after London.

Morag Dunbar - Professional Scottish Tourist Guide

I am a Scottish Blue Badge Tourist Guide with a great enthusiasm for my native country of Scotland. Touring should be fun and my aim is to give you a really enjoyable Scottish holiday with many memories to hold on to and, who knows bring you back again.

I would be more than happy to act as your guide during your stay, driving  you personally in my own vehicle, a Ford Galaxy people-carrier. ( If you do have a larger tour group, then I can accompany you on your own coach with driver). I am equally at home taking groups on city walking tours or in the surrounding countryside.
