Welcome to the Rodel Hotel.

"The Rodel" is a small, family run hotel at the southern tip of South Harris in an area steeped in local history and natural, unspoiled beauty.

The B listed building was completely refurbished in 2001 balancing modern design with the unique architecture of 18th Century Scotland. Each hotel room has soft furnishings in Harris Tweed and artworks by Isle of Harris artists Willie and Moira Fulton, which add to the unique ambience.

We are a dog friendly hotel and can also provide very reasonably priced self-catering accommodation with our modern, well-appointed apartments that are adjoined to the hotel.

Welcome to Croft Cottage

Croft Cottage is a new self-catering cottage offering luxury self-catering accommodation on the Isle of Harris for up to 6 people.

The cottages is away from the road in recently wooded 26 acre croft. Large windows offer views around the croft and over East Loch Tarbet to Scalpay and Skye. Although it can be seen from the ferry coing into Tarbet, it is well away from passing traffic.

The self-catering cottage is situated in Glen Carragrich, 3 miles from Tarbert and commands wonderful views of East Loch Tarbert, the Islands of Scotasay and far distant Skye.

Our self-catering house in Tarbert sleeps 4 and is situated in a quiet road of the main Tarbert - Stornoway road, only 10 minutes walk from the ferry terminal and ideally situated for exploring the Hebrides. It has recently been renovated.

Westbound Adventures is an RYA approved training centre based on the West Coast of Scotland. We offer all RYA practical courses from competent crew through day skipper and coastal skipper to Yachtmaster exam preparation.

Welcome to The Old School House

This refurbished and extended former schoolhouse, now offering bed and breakfast accomodation, is situated 13 miles south of Tarbert and 7 miles from Leverburgh.

The original building was built in 1876 and was a school until 1969 when it was purchased by relatives of the current owners. The property has been fully modernised but in keeping with this type of traditional stone building.

Karen & Calumn MacAulay are now resident in the Lochboisdale Hotel. A Hotel which dates back to the 1860`s and is full of charm and tradition.

The Isle of Scalpay is only 2.5 miles, or 4k in length, its nearest neighbour is the Isle of Harris only 330 yards away, that's 300m. Up till 1997 the only way to get to Scalpay was by ferry, now it has a bridge which makes this stunning little island accessible to the main Hebridean Islands of both Harris and Lewis as well as a host of smaller other bridged isles such as Great Bernera.

The old addage small is beautiful certainly applies to Scalpay with lots of places to explore.

Sea Harris invite you to experience the breathtaking beauty and serenity of some the most fascinating Islands in the Outer Hebrides on a boat trip aboard the 'Enchanted Isle'.

Sea Harris operate scheduled daily boat trips to St Kilda & The Shiant Islands. We will also endeavour to transport passengers to many more of the Hebridean Islands, should you wish to arrange a private charter.
