About Lewis
The Isle of Lewis is in the Outer Hebrides. The island is about 45 miles long and 30 miles at its widest. Home of the Calanais (Callanish) standing stones, and is great for fishing, cycling, walking bird watching or simply relaxing.
Getting Here
The Isle of Lewis is accessible by plane or by ferry with flights from Glasgow, Inverness and Edinburgh.
Caledonian Macbrayne also runs car and passenger ferries from Ullapool to Stornoway.
